Getting Started - Overview

In this section, Getting Started, you will find a group of 12 video tutorials that will allow you to quickly and easily learn how to use some of the capabilities of Scratch. In these tutorials you will learn how to move Sprites (people, animals, objects, etc.) in your programs, how to add sounds, how to change colors, control actions with the mouse or the keyboard, how to design your own Sprites, etc.

Learn and Practice

Select one of the sessions of the menu on the right. Study the video tutorial on how to use Scratch. Practice with your own Scratch environment reproducing the activities on the video, and later, experimenting on your own.
