System Requirements

Display Resolution: 1024 x 768 or larger, and 16-bit color or greater.

OS:  Windows 98 or later; Mac OS X 10.3 or later.

Browser: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari.

Disk: at least 120 megabytes of free space to install Scratch.

CPU:  Most computers have enough memory to run Scratch. Older computers may run Scratch slowly.

Audio: Speakers and a microphone to use the sound ouput and input features.

Download Projects

The projects illustrated in the corresponding section of the tutorials have been downloaded directly from the official Scratch site. You can download them here.  (You need to be registered to login and download files. Search the projects by name in the search box.)

Flash Viewer

The video tutorials require Flash. If your computer still does not have it, you can obtain it free here.
